The studio sorting

Well, it's a heavy rain day and after waking up at 8:25 after a short sleep from 3am to get the video up and also seeing zara much bigger now and a deal that no food until we meet up, yes we might be meeting when I can chat with colleague about time off. it was time to help torchy out and get the studio ready. there is no vlog since it didn't have much going on. but here go

The wet run and catchup

the weather has been absolutely appalling with pouring rain down and after packing for what I thought I need, I left by 10:27 and 11 minutes later I got to the usual pickup point where torchy was in trackies and also like a right front car bottle mess.

but then we got to catch up while he has a week off work, legacy was busy with new commitments and well, it was nice to let a lot out that I talk about on here really. but the rain was still pouring down and we didn't get any extras on the way in. but eventually we got in to the flat.

Emptying the Studio mess

To be honest, this was just getting the rubbish cleared, with the foam panels to make up, (10 panels left) and that was nice, but there were alot of mess and all the cardboard to be used was binned, some foam was binned and then we got the pasting table folded which made so much up. To be honset, it got a few attempts to get it folded with the legs inside but double sided tape got it done, then we Moved it into the hallway along with all the other stuff. But then it was to put most of that bag in the bins and clear his place up a bit.

a rubbish clear out

Which first things first was to clear out rubbish, like 6 bags full of it and trust me that was some strong smells happening here, I was nearly close to puking, but we got it down. Although I locked myself out the first-time from the back door and a neighbour helped and got me unlocked and told me to lock the door afterwards.

Then it was massive cardboard boxes to go down and a massive sack, like Santas but full of well rubbish. Then it was the organising it into the many bins that were there. the funny thing is that the sacks  were only a weeks waste, but the cardboard was next to the bins since of how many there were. But once that was closed, We got going on getting the studio sorted.

The Final touches of the studio

Now we had to hammer in Coax clips to the wall for his ethernet cable now that babba is starting to crawl as well, so we found the clips and he got that hammer and stretching the Cable, which we only used about 10 clips, it worked nicely. We got the ladder out for the cable over the bathroom and that was tight too. But then it was the slight angle on the walls to deal with. But that was done with a few clips. Then it was the last angle before the stretch to the door. That was done and then it was one last one after the door to keep it tight. It did and well, worked nicely.

Then we had the Cork board, so using nails from the coax clips was the clever way, 4 bashed in to the wall right next to the door, it fitted decently. Which then lead to finishing the Last bits of foam. Getting 10 panels back on, some falling off the celing and also the 10 we had left was for the final bit of the wall on the opposite side. We got that done. So the last bit was 2 things.

The Sofa

This was a surprise, Torchy said he don't think it would fit by the wall with the corkboard, but first we did a chuckle (RIP Barry by the way) to get the sofa out of the lounge to the main hallway, with moving cat cages to the kitchen beforehand then getting it moved. Turning it tallways to get it in the studio door helped and Then we placed it in front of the desks. Which was OK but didn't feel RIGHT. So i guess it would fit, he didn't we tried it and it fitted JUST RIGHT. Which he was relieved big time and it looks so good now. So we got the cushions in and then it looked so in place, but one thing left.

The Screen curtain

Now this was a nice bit of those moments with using a Green screen frame to act like a cover or curtain to "block" natural light. Which positioning the poles, it worked like a angle of diagonal and that then was standing on the greenscreen which then the screen was hanging over and the white screen was underneath, it worked and then really made a difference, Then the gaming boxes and the tools and pasting table was stored behind it, Made it look really good.

The results.

It looked amazing, professional minus some painting work on the back wall by the sofa and made it more spacious now. Like it really did. With the sofa next to the wall, a bit of space for normal filming and also a curtain for the green screen eventually if it hangs over. but we were both impressed and it felt complete, this was since March.

Passing the time

So, after that, was making adjustments to the PC to make streams better, woth SLOBS, NVENC was the best way to work with the elgato. Then a MCC stream he ended up doing topless and it was like 11% CPU usage and no lag. But the GTX745 was nearing 60C idel, so a PC clean was needed. Disconnected it all and baba was in the middle of the room, PC next to him when we both cleaned the GPU and CPU Heatsink. But then it was getting back together, it worked fine and slightly cooler. But then we changed his setting and it worked beautifully. Then it was getting wifi and the hub going, IP changing was the goal. It sorted out a few issues after getting passwords right.
Then Flossy cooked up pasta after the three of us were deciding to what to have, she was hungry anyway. So she made some clean pasta for me and cheesey for her and Torchy. I had mine and it was lovely.

The Pasta flossy made me

Then I and Torhcy talked on what games were coming out which might be work on streaming soon and then it was coming towards 6pm and after planning on what we will do soon, maybe edtijng days to get things done like montage editing.

The Home and evening

Then it was time to get a nice talk about plans, with things that might even work, from the weather getting  tunnel vision to plans on a esports team but things will be in a long time for that to happen. But we got back to monksmead by about 7pm. But it was really nice to catch up.
Then it was a nice few meals to end the day.

A ham sub with chicken and crisps.

That was it, another weekend gone but more truths to be held. Expect more soon.

Easter Sunday Spectra Tiling

Well we are at it again with more decoration, eventually the footage will go up but this was a wet day but things were productive. I mean there was more people helping out and banter was all in. Sit back, read on and maybe watch what went on.

Insert Vlog here

Waking up to the delay.

It was about so and so am,actually normal time, I was up after those cute night chats and also buying her Chinese food a few days before since she wants to be 40 stone and is a cute 26 stone, but hey, things might get better with her. But I got up and then a shower was ready. Which after the shower, I saw some nice Easter eggs, with also winning prizes for a hat competition in work on the Good Friday.

The hat my mum customized

She won the competition for it

The easter eggs as I woke up
Then I was about to run down and Torhcy then said he would be ready by 11:15, so it was a quick match of fortnite and building and also getting 4th place. But it was then a quick #dogwalkingwithomracer before returning from the field at 11am and then my dad decided to drop me down to lidl and torchy was already there. So we got in his car and he checked tweets while we were waiting for another member.

The Drive and chatter.

He eventually turned up and then after we had to drop off his car then we got to drive to his, with nice hip hop and catchup chatter for their end and also for other things about plans and there was a vlog that was started. But the roads were wet and traffic was quite busy to be fair. Eventually we got there and then it was time to start on getting this project underway.

The decorating.

Well this was with the tiling, with diy things to get done and some top banter, from live streams and twitter feeds too. But we got footage done on how it was getting along. But we were going for about 2 hours before it was time for a mini trip out.

The start of the Tiling

The trip out.

As we were decorating, we were running out pads and also other bits and pieces, we decided for a Road trip, which was to a few places...

Transit Troubles.

Well, our first stop was to Transit way, which we googled and thought was closed and maybe should of gotten fuel but we drove there and it looked like a deserted puddle, empty and wet. But we parked up and I ran to Tesco and it was actually closed, I ran back to the car and this chap said "Sainsbury's by the roundabout", so that was where i think it was, which was by the flyover.

Sainsbury's shenanigans:

We drove to the flyover, with the highway road back in play and we managed to get in lane to get to the Sainsbury's, the car park was not empty but then we vlogged were made it there and hype when it was actually closed.

the flags of a store thats closed.
But we then go off to Costa in Marsh mills for a 3pm lunch. We went to the drive thru, but that was after we have a trip to halfords, which was for double sided tape and also for some other bitaa. From then we got some Bacon baps for £2.00, Since it was costa, i didn't get anything. But then we went to fuel up.

Tesco Top ups.

So, for the next bit, we went to somewhere a bit more easy. A tesco express which was actually pretty packed. But we got out and then various things were bought, from peperami to sushi and others between. But Chicken sushi for £1 is ideal.

The chicken sushi for £1.00

But then we had to head back to the flat but head back to tesco to get things for torchy's fiance, but then we drove back and carried on work.

The Streams of decorating.

We carried on and things were going preoductive and great. But we eventually ran out of adhesive glue. So i popped down to Co Op to get one, and well a run in a rain and for £2.79 for glue + £1.02 fort a egg and cress sandwich, it was nice.

The glue and the sandwich

Then the streams were the fun part, Mi Life got us 93 viewers, Insta live got 25 and these 2 streams  as well.

The room was looking actually great.

Torchy and the streaming room's progress

But alas all things come to an end when its about 8pm and we decided it was the end. Now torchy dropped me and Chris off, while listening to chillout music and also chats that were deep but it made me realize how far for my love life has to go to get thing better, but with the event in April. Times will change or i'm stabbed to death, we will see where it goes. .

But then I got home about 8:50 and it was a nice roast turkey before heading to bed and chatting to a the same cute girl from this morning. but time to go....

A Weekend of 2 halves

So, its January fading over and the Final weekend before the second month. In all honesty, its been a weak one with some good and some bad happening. But I'll let you know the full story in a catchup. But for now, it was one of those weekends where things happened and maybe it will lead to more fun but well will see.

A Spectra Saturday.

Saturday, well things were actually swapped over, since the relocation is closed on Saturdays until some time in February and this meant I do get some sort of a long weekend now. But with the start of making the Collab with Team Spectra, things were going to go interestingly. But usually its a Sunday with hanging out and getting the stream done. So it was a day of streaming.

The morning.

I woke up at 8:40 or so am. After the internet checking and it was time to get some Admin work and E-mails checked out Which then it was also the time to get packed up just in case i needed any editing to do with the team. But I got prepared with a Smoothie, berries in the fridge was a nice way of doing it and the 2 games ready to pack up.

Rocket League, Berry Smoothie and PUBG
I then got ready after a shower and changing into the filming outfit which then I pelted it down in the not heavy but showing rain down to the Team location. 10 minutes later, I get in and then I find Torchy was asleep. With me creeping in but the door was loud, we greeted and chatted and he showed me the Blackwidow Chroma he got given by his fiance'. It felt amazing but also at the same time, it was just too good for me to want to buy. Considering they are nearly £150, that will be a pass on me. Heck, i can get in a similar performance PC to what i have for £155. But anyway, I helped him make his bed and then we got ready to go and pick up 2 members. Mr Flarry Ollo and also one member I've yet to meet, but we got in the car, Papa Johns was left in there from the night before. But we got in and then it was a drive to pick both up. We all chatted about different things, the stream, listened to som Youtube via the AUX Cable. We then got to pick Ollo up after staying in his driveway and calling him.

He got in and was astounded by the papa johns, but we got going and headed our way to pick the other member up. But we did head over to tesco to fuel up. Some banter was eunsuring. Also we tried to call the other team member, but it went a bit dead in that respect. We carried on to the member's place but even after calls, still no reply. Then we called Teetz and he was busy. So we headed back to the place to get the stream going.

The Stream

We got back after dropping Flarry off to get some food bits in Pasty house and Co-Op
We got everything setup, so it was a case of a bit of Fortnite first and then Rocket League and then PUBG and back to fortnite. But all the banter ensured, this was about 5 hours long. Toilet breaks and phone calls with customers as well

Enjoy the stream below:

Installing Rocket League

The Evening.

Eventually it was 5:45 and we had been going for 5 hours, from snacks to banter and shocks alike, We pack up and since someone called me on Friday to book the evening, so I was to run to his, which with spitty rain aside, I visited him and gave him a lesson on his Moto G and then fun times with recovering his Google Account, which is another go.

Heading out
Once that was done, it was time to head home, with the rain and the hills and more, it really made some good timing and greet my parents. So after catching up, I had some phone calls to deal with, but then I managed to have a nice roast turkey with extras too

Running up the steepest hill i've ever been up in Tavi

The Roast Turkey and extras for that night, including salad and biscuits.

Then we finish off with relaxing and then on to the Sunday. With a family affair.

The Supporting Sunday.

Well this was actually happening Due to on the 11th Jan, My granded went on a roof and fell off when tiling it back when one of the storms hit the town it was in. But since then, things went quite bad and panics ensured and some plans went out of the Window. Now we have to change some plans of ours to get family checked out. Things were going to eventually make things come to the point of I needed to see him, since I was busy on Sundays with the Spectra collab. But swapping it made the day free, so it was a day of it.

The Morning.

I eventually got up about 9am after the fap and the checking, but since snapchat is starting to play up on me, it does make some extra time for things. But once that was done, it was some checking e-mails as well as then to get a shower before a #dogwalkingwithomracer. That was fun with so many dogs around Rosie, but she took little notice of it.

A selfie before walking

The Moors

Waiting for the ball
There was so much chatter with a chap that worked in Dubai and also had some really nice beagle that was a Rescue. But then a crossbreed king charles and poodle who was hype. Eventually it was half an hour later and we got back home again to get changed for the big meal.

The Meal:

So we drive out to get my Granddads Fiance's house, with the Road being surfaced, it was quite interesting with the arguments of if it had been resurfaced or not. But then it was more along the lines of when we got there, we greeted her, she kissed all of us on the cheek, it felt really forced and very one sided. But want to be family members have to be treated like family so...

But she wanted to know about the Collab (my family are not really understandable about being a Youtuber or streamer, so i had to make a lie or story about a project  which is aka the Spectra Collab)
But I said it was a secret and she will find out one day, even thought she doesn't even use the internet, not one bit. Anyways, we headed off  to her Favorite pub where a cornishman owns it and his sons now run it, but the food is nice there.

We parked in the Carpark opposite which it was dry but then we got in and sat in the corner. More chatter about work and other bitsor now, it was the owner having a chat and a nice glass of lime and . lemonade which had that onpoint to it. But then some friends of hers came in and she went up a and greeted them and then hugged him in front of his wife and said what had happened, it felt hmm. Okay it is a scary thought and emotional but it was a bit like how I used to be with my feelings when my heart was broken when falling in love with Abbey.

Eventually the food arrived and it was incredibly tasty, french apples in the apple sauce and the nice amount to eat as well.
The Roast Beef for lunch today

Eating was good and it was more chatter about things, brownie points for my uncle and more on the way. But then we felt full and it was time for the Puddings, and she was told to pay and besides, its food for favours, like how my sex life is currently going haha. But in all seriousness, the fair method was she pay one, we pay other and repeat. But Treacle puddings and Apple Pies were ordered, mine with nothing else with it. But minus the heat it produced, it was amazing.

The stick toffee pudding
Eventually it was time to finish up and we headed to the Hospital, not the big Derriford (which i might need to go to get one of those new years resolutions sorted) but to a local one to see how he is getting on, so we walked out of there and chatting. Got into the car and drove our way there.

The Hosptial.

It was actually simple when we got there after the usual car chats and the like. But we parked quite close and then walked in. We had to go down the stars to this ward and he was right by the ward by the desk, it did look like a theme hospital level (now with 2 point carrying that on, expect a video), but we then greeted him and saw a neighbor had visitors as well. He looked really normal, well, normal, healthy, the bruising was minimal on the higher up. But we then caught up and chatted about different topics, once I had the chairs in of course.

Entering the Hospital.
It was about an hour and a half of catching up and there was moaning, gossip, even fixing a vacuum that tripped an electric switch twice and still told to KEEP IT. But eventually it was time to head back home, so we ended up going past my sister's place which was good since I needed to pick up Chromecast.

A quick sis catchup.

So, we got to my sisters and greeted, she gave me some orange squash and also i chatted with her boyfriend and introduced him to fortnite, which we watched a stream on mixer on a basic internet connection. But eventually we said our goodbyes. It was getting colder outside as well. We got in the car and drove off into the fog and mist to drop my grandad's fiance back.

The drop off.

It was finally time to get her home, we did and then we did some mini chores with her before saying our goodbyes and heading home. Which was dark and foggy and well once we got back, I started typing this up until tea was ready at 8pm, but chatting to this cute girl after which might bring some chances back up. That and it was one of those mixed light teas but was really tasty.

The meal for tonight.
But then it was typing this up after a bath. Before a morning of filming and ordering games for work.

Enjoy and more blogposts coming soon.
