A Heated World carnival

So then, it's this time of the year already and my god it's been a bit of stress for the past few weeks, at one point it's going to be that catchup but that might be in the coming week for the twitter anniversary of 13 years. But let's see how this has been. things are scary for next year, appointments got delayed and well, new friends that actually skype me for even an all nigher after the week of finding out news which could make me realise things might go to not so good in the future and well put myself in wayyyy over my head. But enjoy the vlog below:

The Day Before:

To be fair after the few weeks I'e had, it has been nice to finally take it easy while actually, I had a little favour called in which was good, but like it comes down to the part of well, taking the mind of things, the favours from getting this data recovery sorted to even get things sorted and some customers in and out, but the heat was also causing some choices to be talked on, but the chance to finally get to have a think on those is important. This was while me and the chap was eating snacks he got since he was having breakfast in Morrisons and picked up some bits.

The Tango to have for lunch

The shortbread for lunch while some work to be done

But as time progresses, work was ending and it was time to sort of end the day early like it was that time I could finally. oh wait, I ended up having to get the chance to have to check a Diagnostic on a desktop that literally came in the last minutes which basically meant I had to come home at like 7pm, which s fair and needs to be sorted with this machine, in terms of that will be to contact.

But then it was time to get home and get some things sorted, with a nice bit of steak for tea to then end up getting the chance to have a walk with Rosie on the stream with a car drive.

The meal from the Friday night

But then it was to be later on and ends up  another skype call with someone which has been quite an every other day affair, like it was that heart to heart from such as food, some potential dates and even listening about her previous partner. But it feels nice that she can hang out with me, sure there is some lines being done but she doesn't show me them which is sometimes that nice part and its important to be open about it and there is a nice look to her as well.

But that call ended up stopping at 3am and then it was time to get to sleep to prepare for the big day of the Carnival.

The Day of the Carnival.

The Morning run past an awakening eco fest

So, it ends up waking up after the normal fap, especially with the long day that was going to happen. This starts off to become the normal run to work which was in the heat, with the glasses on, I ran to the meadows, to then start the vlog, which was to preview or a sneak peek of this Ecofest which had some of the tents that were being put up.

The selfie before the vlog started

As i walked past the tents, it was slowly having the stages set from the signs on the wall, southwest water trying to do their best to cover their reputation and well, that was about it. For some reason, the glasses did not show or record the footage which is a shame for it didn't show. But then I ran my way to work or more a light walk due to the heat. But then It got to the square and them the time to see what fun fair rides were going to be shown. A Ghost train and the Helter Skelter was a nice touch for this, even though it was less due to the street food fair in the Guildhall car park.

The view of the street food fair

The view of the fair

Then it was a mini walk into work to then catch up on actually a quiet day.

The Quiet day in work.

To be fair it ended up dealing with a few things,

  • No sales at all
  • a kid was playing fortnite on xcloud using my account for most of the day
  • A long chat about the values of SSDs
  • A kid came in asking for cuphead DLC on Switch without the £15 eshop card at like 6pm

Then it was heading to decide on my end on the packing up since I wanted to close between 6 and 6:30 to make sure I have time to cash up and also get the part of the accounts sorted but that ended up not going to plan.

The Procession:

So it was then nearing the 6:35 mark and it was time to make my way to view the floats and see what was going on, As i walked past the back of the market, the vintage cars were literally revving up and then going to drive in to make a show for sure. But then I found a place by the roundabout and then to finally get the filming down as it was very close to seeing the floats and also this car like drive up the road and having to turn around at the car park, that was funny in a way.

The car driving up the road it seems.

But then it was time for the floats and how it drives past me, the floats did seem varied by far and there was a bit of the usual vibe of recent global events mentioned and even it was showing the recent refugees as part of a float, I mean it's great but it does have a pity on that side. But some creative ideas and nonetheless nice to watch in the dry weather too.

The  Cute float is nicely made

Delivery vans and more walking

More of them

More at the end of the Steam Rollers

Then it was finally the end of the procession, it was then around the 7:14 mark which means it was time to think about making my way home. The clouds were getting very common and the temperate was dropping.

The view of the crowds as the procession ended past here

A browse of the square

So, this was then time to go to have a look at the stalls to see how nice they would end up being. Like it gives a massive crowd of various things, from neighbours handing me a dropped leaflet to then seeing the candy straws as well, which was nice. But it was a lot of crowds around, even though some were starting to move toward the end of the roads to then go to see the crowds on the road, then it was time for me to run back home since of the dog needed to be walked.

The crowds in there before leaving

AS I was about to leave, there were some good stalls of like headbands on the road. But then
I ran home. Which was only about the 15 minutes mark...

The time to go home.

So I finally ran home and then it was time for Rosie to greet me which was nice, But it was then to walk her and reflect on what was going on since it was going to be a case of the parents going out for 2 meals, which is fine but soon I would have to run quite far when it comes to go home wit that choice that's been made by others. But I then got home and the phone rang, turns out my nan fell which means it was going to be tough to try to either call mum earlier form their evening, but 20 minutes after that call, they got home and I told them. This was when I finally was having tea which was just the small bun baps.

A nice chicken and choco spread toasted bap

Then it was time to start to get some of the vlog editings which ended up being an attempt to then recovery some of the videos from the immortal glasses and finding out it did not film any part of the eco fest tents being put up. But it was also to get it sorted the day after. But taking the Portable screen home is such as a good idea for dual monitors on the go

The editing at like 12am

But then that concludes what is meant to be a decent weekend, but it actually turned out to be productive. On the personal side, things might end up deeper in the coming months, heck even this post was delayed due to events I've got to wait for the right time to talk about (Also no as a spoiler, it's not mean I've suddenly fulfilled any new years resolutions or suddenly got a partner)

But for now, it's to cool off from the heatwave (I will post about it soon) and see what the future will hold for me from short events to potential things to deal with.

A Sunny Childrens's Book Carnival (Tavistock Carnival 2019)

Well, this is the finally the time of getting things done. The twitterversary is done and now its time to celebrate a carnival yet again. With the hectic of work and now still another 7 days until I get one day off, Sumer opening is about to begin in work which means days off are few and far between which is good but it can mean that things will be hectic to complete goals and things. But the Vlog is below:

The Hectic Workday

Well, after a bit of a heavy night with typing up the catchup blog post, I was eventually up at half 8 and got changed then gone by 8:45 ish. With then a run down to work, passing the bunting and then eventually a trippy pic of the rides that were set up, like a new ghost train along with the classic funhouse and even a cute doughnut tent was up now too.

The HDR of the town

I got in work just about the time of 9am. Then it was time to get things sorted. But then it was a hectic day of repairs, learning hows a bank can make ordering a simple £3 item turn into 3-week chaos. But I think a talk did help set the hopeful fix of leaving Cashplus which have caused it.

Then it was repairs and some good switch sales as well as headset gripes with Xbox controllers on consoles that were brand new. But eventually it was nearing the end of the day and I was making my way home. This was in better weather than I had thought and looking promising for the end of the week, sure it meant nothing since work the next day but at least I can be productive with the vlog and announce the winners of the Twitter giveaway of the Just eat £50 gift card. So that was printed off the machine and then it was time to Run home. But there were some good views and not many of the way of crowds heading and walking around.

The fair

The funhouse

Eventually, I got to the chance to get home and actually I did not notice the dog so I managed to get things ready and devices charged up. Sure not much of a long time to use them but its all good. Then my sister arrived home, she was in a blue dress and the fake tan thing for her best mates hen do, she looked okay and we caught up and told her how shit work was today, like  it really just made things annoying and also things more to order and money to sort out after the antics of whatever happens tomorrow. But eventually parents arrived home, they had showers, I had a shave but the blades are slightly done for so need to get some more for the Gilette. But I had this pen pan au Chocolat and peanut butter sandwich. By 6:20, I was off to run to the Carnival.

The peanut butter and hjam pan au chocolat

The Carnival of Children's books.

I got there and it was running a bit late luckily, so I decided to go to a different viewpoint this time and it was actually a good one to see them walk from down the hill. But there was a nice show of floats and things this year too. Only 1 minion which never belong and unsure how even marvel characters class as children's books (comics might just stand but not sure) and there was some creative things. Saw a few customers and the like there too.

The crowds

Waiting for the road to clear

After that, It was time to make effort and explore the fair before walking back up the hill, Passing the Pizza place to see for a bite to eat and also its a good idea to get the Twitter winners announced.

The fair was busy

The Announcing walk home.

Well, I did have a think on things and announced a giveaway winner, someone I didn't even follow on twitter before this and it was Cccccccaitlin, so she won, sure there was a chance some girls I really wanted to be with Entered but they can't win since that suspicious. But at the end of that day, it was on the way to Spar. I did choose some chicken slices and egg mayo sandwich filler (to have for tea). That only cost me £1.95 which is a bargain alone.

The chicken of slice

And then I ran home and walked the dog when I got home, she was excited and then after that was to have a bit of snack for the video editing session.

And there we have it, I managed to get the vlog rendered by 2am which is good. Sure Regen will kill me one day buy that tub is still strong stuff for 1 year old and also chatting to Karla is nice before she flys to call or something like that, maybe that could happen in august too but I think there's a more special chance with Chloe when she gave me a £15 ASOS voucher which is the first girl i've fed that's actually done that for me.

But well, its time to work like mad for 7 more days, a CTR tournament to carry on and well others to do. See you soon.

The Grey Carnival around the world (Tavistock Carnival 2018)

Its the carnival season again and with the world of summer approaching. 9 Years of twitter caught up and also work has a costume day to celebrate #tavicelebrityhunt which actually hardly went very well in terms of online but meh. But with the theme of "countries around the world" (very similar to the Olympic theme back in 2016). it was going to have something fun to say the least....

The vlog is below:

The Working as Laurel.

Well there is a competition on in work for the annual summer event, take selfies with celebrity cardboard cut outs, thats cool and something new, then show off the selfies for a chance to win prizes. Nice, but setting that up actually was easy in the end. But it was the costume to order, now i really should of followed my WB rep's advice and go as mr incredible since i'm doing a selfie competition with a chance to win a copy of the game, well either way i've lost money doing that so fine when it comes to august. But work has been just busy in slight bursts. But i did take a selfie before leaving for work today anyway, it was a nice costume. Quite expensive at £30 ish from Joker's Masquerade. turns out i was running with my phone and wallet in my hat too.

The selfie

I got to work about 9:10 and customers were al;ready waiting, that teaches me for fapping in the mornings daily to keep me feeling happy eh, but then it was a massive tidy up and that was a stressful task and even made me overcharge and then refunded half of that overcharge, but printer backs are not easy to see. But then the day went on, and eventually it was 4:30 and time for me to get back home to prepare whats been going on, I was meant to finish the catchup blogpost and running with things nearly falling out is just a accident waiting to happen but didn't.

Leaving work and seeing the carnival fairgound

The evening to procession.

Well it was nearly 6:30 and i decided to make my way down there, since I would only find somewhere to sit and then get back to getting this up afterwards, since well, not much is down in Tavi for me now, like meh. But hey, no videos would be done if i didn't do this. not this blogpost. But a shower and jeans to put on before getting down there for 6:45 would do it. since down road from 6:30 is still a good 15 minutes away walking time.

The mini sub of an artic bar, mayo and ham.
I ran down in tight jeans, which actually i didn't take too long, like 11 minutes by the time i got to the point when a mini bus was parked in the middle of the road and that was then full of crowds waiting to see the procession which was actually quite near us already. I found a place on the road and then sat and watched it go by, lucky i bought the power bank with me since it needed it but from 95 down to 20 in under and hour is NOT GOOD.

The procession starts #throughglass

Lets start

blurred martial arts

More things

By but about 7:20 it was over, the last van was passing by, people were just moving back into the town, pretty quickly i might add, but there was a few bits of floats that were the same, not sure how starwars related to countries of the world, same with high fiving deadpool but there were some that stuck to the theme, but most overlapped. Thats a bit of a shame really. But hey, its all done now and after exploring the fair and seeing overpriced slushies, it was time to head back home.

The fairground of how blank it looks

More sights around

But I then ran back and there was some hen party with the bus at the bus station, right past a bus that was leaving for the end of the day to park it up, well it was a bit of a odd one, but the weather cleared up for it to be honest. But then it was time to gulp 3 pints of squash with ice and get this up, i didn't actually sleep until 2am but at least the video is up.

Now i'm working for 6 days a week (if business partner is struggling to cover) then its gonig to be a stressful time to get videos and posts up and I will try my best, besides we have the Fireworks in August, we have maybe a day out or 2 and Team spectra is in limbo for the momento too.

all the best
