A Family Eye Opening - Lockdown Stage 19

 Well, I was never expecting to have a fair bit to type up but here we are. Now the past 2 weeks have been something I've not had good memories of and well, things have been a tough sight at hand indeed and well, it has to come to an end in some way or another and as I type this, it was a happier ending. But it cannot believe that 2 weeks has flown by already either. But we have a bit to get through so its time to begin. 



The Family in February:

So, it was only a few days since mum left and to stay with her dad at their place and me and dad were left to manage the house and to make sure it was in good nick and look after the pets too. But there is tension to be had and well it is only too well that things would be put off. But for the most part, I was having to cook which is okay, but I really wanted to get a video done soon, even when later on I realized  that the tripod could be fixed since it was a bit of unscrewing to sort out. but dad was cooking lunches when I was not feeling for it. It was good timing to use Kitchen Net Hub to watch Pokemon when mum was not using it (not worth 10 for 2 people to watch Netflix in all honesty), this did make it for some of the evenings when cooking and tidying up. 






But this was soon to be expected as I was needing to catch up with work and that was going to be hard, since this week, was at least 2 days of visits to sort out and plans to be made for valentines as well as tiktoks what say that love doesn't happen at first sight which some loony was actually the opposite and was even on a radio show but the new article was hard to find of that local girl or 40 years something.




But on the Wednesday night when i was late home from a long run around of work, I did get the house to myself and well it did lead to making some more food and more Netflix binge-ing, since it gets tough to Cain it on the second job when needing that time to focus and well after Thursday, it was the case to get a fair chunk of questions sorted and that makes it easier for me. But Finley and rosie were bonding much better when walking in public, on the roads at night anyway. 











But then it was good since money did arrive which was not used for refunding due bad favours this time around and so that was used for saving up and eventually to pay work back for the recent splurge in things since the second lockdown such as the SSD and a lot of small presents and vouchers  for the time  of Christmas and also even the Prif streambox i still owed work from that too. But that was for later to decide my fate there. Plus finding out practice driving is actually illegal is a shock too but that's life for those that care. But it was also a realization that I've not done much online video groups minus some insta lives and also some zooms to keep. Oh and WANDAVISION got interesting, which sadly it shows the bad truth later the week after, the hype for the crossover  was real. Like they recast him but no the truth is the dimension is not the same...for now.








But it was coming up to a day of getting a vlog done, since that saturday I had to do some real life deliveries and with that comes another bit on the bike, which is fine, the weather was okay and customers have to get the demands met, well one was a laptop delivery (macbook pro with no drive so i added in a transcend 240GB and it took a bit of work to get 10.15 to appear). But either way it was a nice 30 minute cycle on the wet but not frozen roads for the delivery. But the way back was the time to get a vlog up and running. This was rushed I will admit, but it got the job done and later on I had the chance to video edit this even if that was days later.









But my energy was low that night and it was time to get the family sorted since it was nearing the final days of being with dad without mum around. But it was nice to finally get a vlog done and £20.38 is not a bad price at all.  This was also the time for the work and also the time of the rescue of the  bird on the road, it did end up flying off eventually.

But we then have to progress for the final weekend of nan in hospital, which meant it was nice to have to visit mum and grandad at theirs and experience another nice roast which is good with the added extra of a lush Oreo Torte.

Then it was nice to go on a walk and a drive near for memory lane and the family with a nearby safe park, but the wind was out and it was actually sunny too.  But then it was time to head back and get some things sorted out too. Since hard drives were failed and I've had to order the replacement pcb board and the next few days were to find out which backup, worked, with a weird issue of the hard drives clicking but also not clicking either.

But then it was coming to the past week and well, it was back to working. Since a few customers to deal with and 2 of them were last minute. Which even involved a very windy run as the beast from the east was appearing.

Which that was a good time to catch up to prepare for what was about to come next, nothing bad but it  can be the case of well tidying up to make the time for projects later on. But even the government make it easier to handle, oh wait 6k of feederism. 






















Then it was another morning to wake up, the winds were soaringly cold and the icicles showing when dogwalking, it was nice to finally get time to have to not do real life work but online was my hope. Sadly things do get in the way of organisation.

But we then start to get the desk and the cables tidied up, me and dad did argue since I had to get work done and it distracted for it . But the desk did make things much easier for the long term. Especially as someone special liked it too. Dad did struggled to make the desk but all the parts were there.

But then it comes to the next day, the rest of the next day was to get video editing done which was okay but still its overdue and I should have been better on that part. But it got up in the end. Which then it lead us to something of a fun time to plan videos but for now it was time to get things up for work. But weetabix and baked beans were now a thing, which goes well from when i found out later on. 
























But instead it was time to go to video edit and catch up from the vlog previously, since it was the best time but it was not since it ended up to be to see the grandparents to make sure they were ok. Since it was the first time to see nan home after her 2 weeks but she was feeling better and it was starting to be the eye opening that she isn't herself anymore, she's still with us and knows most of us sometimes but there is that chance of the hint of soon she might not. Which means there is a time limit and this is what reflection will be about hearing in the next few weeks. But it was nice to have a nice little pie and also the ice was a bit nicer this time to see when dogwalking.

It was then on making a lush bit of fajitas for me and dad, I did add too much sauce and 2 chicken fillets is no way enough as far as I can understand now. But it was hard since the time for that makes online work and also other things much more nearly unfair in its regard. But things need to be pushed back for the others of success which is a lesson I've got a lot to learn more times this year.

But then it was more video editing to get started, eventually I finished at 1am but there was a strange thing with FCP Not importing clips and that causes things to be delayed in that regard, but the next day was time to get that uploaded and it was finished, so then one more meal with dad before spending time with him to make sure he didn't feel lonely, which he was getting a bit like that and slightly blunt with mum on calls. But While this was happening and me and him watching Barbarians.  It was a one glowing sky from the Fire on Tavy Cleave many miles away but still in view.

Then it was the next day of an afternoon to myself. So it was time to get filming done and it was lunch time too, so its ideal test to get it filmed which the birth of the weetabix omracer eats.

It was also lucky that I finally got to recovery from a backup hard drive wise, I was quite lucky but it was over a year out of date, Yes I did purchase the pcb for the 1.5tb drive but well hope we can recover that for the future. 


But then it was one more empty day of work and then it was time to get valentines sorted, which it was a Saturday and it was the final day before mum was to return to normal life as it stands. But that night before was a nice pizza hut treat for a special someone as well as the time to work until 1am as well. 


Then it was valentines and it was finally a quick morning, since I woke up and got some tests done with the laptop and turns out I can use it for Wii sports since dolphin works on its passthrough on bluetooth. Which means I might do some Wii sports gameplay.

But then it was pissing down with rain and after walking Rosie, the time to deal with soaking wet rain and also seeing pictures of Krispy Kreme made me smile, but it was nice to finally have another roast with the family. The rain was torrential and I finally got screen mirroring setup on my grandads iPad bless him. It was also the test of some ice cream my dad got mum for valentines.

But we have then to come home and it was the weekend gone, it was time for a nice bath in the evening as well, more nuggets and burning my tongue on garlic bread was a touch as well. But it was also good to finally talk to a good friend and actually she's been really good and had a nice time but she did say it was a shame I didn't get any presents. 














But then it was coming to Monday, work was time to happen and it was good to run and actually for a chance for walking too. Since 2 visits to customers in the morning then to the shop and that was for a few hours then time to get the vibe of going to Jewson's to plan for a project of a custom desk. Then off to setup the chromecast with google TV including sideloading apps. That did not work for Sky Arts. But it was also the running home in the splitty rain. Then it was finally nice to have a lovely curry I've not had in at least a week.


But then it becomes pancake day, which was mostly a day with the family, minus a cycle for a visit in the morning and that was not far on waiting, I was only there an hour but parking on the verge and some guy was really like "Don't step on the flowers, Jesus", but then it was talking and waiting for a slow laptop to appear for things but it worked in the end, even if he said its a shame I never got anything sent for Valentines day.


 But then I cycled back home and it was just about raining. But then it was spending the afternoon with mum and Rosie which was a walk and a heart to heart and finding out that i might have to be taking responsibility for the future actually with things like inheritance. She was feeling it was a eye opener for her and she's working out to make sure things are fair for all in the long run. It was nice to walk with her to a place I've not been since last year, even though it was soaked and boggy as we were walking. 

But later on it was pissing down with  rain and then later it was time to have tea, which for me was a light one of Fish fingers and hash browns. But then it was soon time to have Pancakes and well, I almost messed up the bottle mix but luckily I made 2 nice pancakes. One with Sweet Chilli and one with Chocco Nussa. All Bran was the mix.

Then it was a bath after helping her sort things out and then to type this all up. 

But now the lockdown is not really ending in sight but there is a choice I'll have to face soon but for now, life continues as a new normal.

The Sunday Dogsitting Catchup

Well, for the next two weeks things are going to be amazing. With things, i've planned and not mentioned to supporting those extra people here and there which have meant alot to me and also taking a new program up to make extra money to save up for things that might happen if some people get their own well is important too. But the vlog is below:

So we begin by actually doing the small things, sure the one i met with  was on a diet which I did help her cheat on it on Friday and other things between us close together as friends. That helped with another fact that I did something special with the local lady by helping her change her life which also means I might get to see more of her soon with no issues on meetups. But it will take a few more delays before that happens I guess but the main thing is it's good there. 

But there is something good happening next weekend with someone and I'm not allowed to say anything about it so it will be hush-hush until it happens, but I'm mega excited for it. That and I ordered a laptop from Aliexpress. The Maibenben Xiaomai 6a which has an N4100 and an MX250 which I got for a staggering £270 ish. I did risk something for this but without realising what came next I just have to accept it. That will be reviewed as soon as I can. 

But I also joined a program with Directly which was just on a whim to see if I could help out for some extra money as those support agents. I started it and helped a few customers, from using Rufus to make their own USB for installing windows to even fixing sound problems and throw a dash of the chance to enjoy their own dealings with people purchasing the wrong version of Minecraft indeed. I guess it was based on how many happy customers answers you got paid. But actually its based on points and in that week I got about 11,000 points, sure 45 happy customers and 1 meh customers but thinking that would make me $50, it didn't, it made me nearly triple which is a shocking amount but then again I was using it up to 2 am on some of the nights. If you do apply. Then good luck and be patient and helpful and loads of copy-paste if you use advice from non-Microsoft sites. 

That and work is hectic with orders for games, 2K now taking the spotlight of the place and also a glass cabinet I and my colleague bought (split fiver each). But I'll show you in a day in the life vlog. 


The Morning. 


So I actually went to sleep at like 4am and also had a call with a former friend like just on the off chance, just out of the blue like do you want a phone call with me while her friend was there.  (this was a friend from many years ago I did have subway with and one of the first girls I bought food for online too). But it was nice catchup which helps things and now I have the privacy to do calls for the next two weeks. I smiled and then had a nice look at some fun bits before I woke up from the alarm clock of Google home. Which reminds me I need to check the sound for that to make it more me. 


Then I woke up, about 8am from that sound and then checked my phone to check the balance and my jaw fucking dropped Like it actually makes me feel like vincent after he cheated (you'll get that reference when I play Catherine Full body during this time off ). 

But then my mind still buzzed and shocked I made that much I was having a moment and did just well have a fap over what next week brings. But for that, I then got up and had the internet to check before a walk with Rosie and start the vlog. 

She enjoyed it but losing the balls for about 10 minutes at least which is a bit of a shame in away. But hey ho. I got back at 10:45 and then got changed and fed Rosie her breakfast and eyes watering to near luke in the process. I  then had to get more internet stuff done and type this up along with some laundry chores, to begin with.

By about 1:30  I gave Rosie one last quick walk before I was time to go off and a shower was done.  Since I was going to his at 2 instead of 12:30 so I had a chance to make some extra toasted sandwiches for lunch.

Well, it's back to the collabs, So I ran to his by 2:15, I got there and then we caught up since he just woke up then it was down to the basement to get the equipment setup. Which actually didn't take long and then a few test streams and settings in SLOBS and teaching him how to remux in OBS. by 5PM, it was time to leave since he was about to have his tea, It was a run in the slight rain indeed by this point. But most of that had been done and plans for the future to be made later. Sure things were limiting him indeed which we can say but it might be looking good there.

I ran back home and got there, not that long spent, Sundays of a place of closing and all and well it was good that I then did the washing in the tumble as well as one final walk with Rosie (well not final but one before I end the post) and directly had more customers to go and help. But also Rubbish to be taken out and then that was it, I was finally done and also the parents called to see how things were and they enjoyed more cornish timings
