Swimming and Dogwalking on a Bank Holiday Monday

The final bank holiday of 2017 before its year end is right here, with the weather actually being hot and nice for it, it was time to do something different. This was how the idea came about to tak rosie swimming and I went as well. There was no vlog for this since another one might happen soon. But enjoy anyway.

The Morning to prepare:

Lets be honest, bank holidays usually don't have me waking up earlier than usual and this was no exception, the alarm went off at my usual time, I was ok considering i Didn't sleep until 1:30 after buying bus tickets for pics and helping someone out with that, romance has to be built with doing favours for each other :). But after fapping, I was up by 9:15 and got the internet checked, Kinguin replied to my application and also charging up the action camera while reading on how to upgrade the firmware while having a toilet. But by 10:20, we were on our way to doublewaters again. The sun was shining, the sky clear with little clouds to block out the heat and the green grass as we started walking.

The moors before walking down

The walk down:

As me and mum walked down, Rosie playing ball and hiding them often, it was interesting to chat to her about plans in the next couple of weeks and just some reminders since me and Rosie by ourselves for 2 weeks will be interesting, since she hates me for the most part at home but outside shes ok. The hills were fresh with ferns and the heat was not blazing but it was normal august supposed to be weather, before the zigzag, a 4x4  passed us so the lead was on her then took Rosie off it and she carried on walking, with hopes to play ball.

Where the 2 rivers meet

We then were passing to the bridge, a friend of mums started chatting to us, Rosie barked to nag us to move on and then we shortly did. Rosie was near the river and she was excited about it, drinking from the clear water this time compared to other places we had been recently. But shortly after, that we had made it down the 2 hills to the swimming spot in 34 minutes.

The walk

The River

The wet swim.

We all got laid out on the gravel, well more unpacked on the gravel, with the mat resting and the training lead attached to her ball which the was time for her to play ball and get her nice n wet for a good cool down. She was diving her nose in, the ball was sadly sinking which makes it a bit harder to get her to grab it , but he Action Cam had died just at this point, which was around the time I got changed, to swim.

Rosie in the Water

I went in the river and m legs did feel the chill and then slowly walked further in, feeling the cold, the D was feeling it, the thighs were and well it was adjusting to the climate for me mainly.

In the Water

Then mall ball games for a while which was nice, Rosie started to shiver partway through. But she didn't really seem to worry except barking at the ball not being thrown. But before we had lunch, I decided to put her lead on and get her to paddle a little bit, she did but it was a bit worrying for her, she tried to run back and then wanted to play more ball again. But it was soon time for me to change then lunch

A relaxing lunch:

Once I had changed, which actually was getting towards 12pm. It was a nice bit of snack for lunch, whih changing was at the right time since 2 people with three dogs has passed us by. The lunch was a tuna crisps sandwich, It was nice and the tuna is a mix of pasta in a tomato sauce. The bread roll was soft and not filling soft but fresh soft.

The lunch

Rosie was being barky with wanting my crisps but not mums, then she wanted some of her biscuits then it was time to play ball for one more time before we made our way up the hill.

But rocky

The way back:

By 12:33, we decided to make ourway back, with Rosie enjoying the balls,I dried up my legs and put my socks on then it was the walk back up. The heat was hotter and the journey back was not as long as we were guessing but it was more people around which knew we did this at the right time.
As we were getting to the top of the first hill, another 4x4 drove past us and then we noticed a sign tht said "Josh's Party" which must of been the way we just come back from. By that time it was only 15 minutes. Then it was time to play ball for the last bit of the hill.

The Ferns on the hill

Then it was getting up this hill, Rosie was herding the ball off the track since it was getting hot for her, then another 4x4 was passing us, by then we had rosie on the lead sicne it was the top of the hill and near the car. Which it was 28 minutes when we arrived back to the car.

Arriving

Rosie didn't want a drink so we got in the car and then drove of to lidl which we were going to pick up some bits for a BBQ but things were missing so we got some bits for home.  But then once we were home, it was nice to sunbathe and catch up with typing this up.

That makes this august a interesting one full of change and new times, new chatter and new ways of working. Also with starting a business, time feels shorter but I have new videos planned soon. For now, have a rest.

A Krispy Hot Day

Well, today finally marks it, its April 21st, its been a Year or more since i went to my first buffet, its possibly Mcdougall's birthday and also Kripsy Kreme opens in Plymouth, Yup, thats one step for perfect romantic gluttony, okay maybe i exaggerate but its a perfect day and its a day with various bits of fun.

I end up waking up at 8:40 after a glance at feabie and then i had to walk the dog from a post it note that told me to, from walking in a field where Rosie was pretty much biting my foot but she did her business and then i got home with her, e-mail checking and social checking was always a bit of fun and then i had to have a shower and a shit, well in reverse order but meh, i had plans to go swimming since its that hot out there, and i felt it at 9am in the morning. Oh and a poem i read on UKIP was giving me a giggle.

The shower was nice and after prepping my things and making sure i've got what i need, i leave around 10am, Topless and through Glass, since well, its perfect for that. Also i found out i'm now 175lbs, a 3lb gain funnily enough.

Just about Leaving

Passing By

Wheee

This hill

Look at the moorview

The road to the busy one

Yup, the entrance

Nearing Central Park

I made it to a different bike park

I got there in 1 hr 43 minutes, and it was a nice journey to the toilet, it was a massive queue to the stand for Krispy Kreme, interestingly its not an actual stor,e but a stand just outside HMV. Which has 2 queue lines and there were 2 mini stands just nearby was one and the other was at the entrance.

Where the stand actually is

After that, i was exploring town and with many of the sights and seeing offered in stores like A GTX 750 for £107.99 and a PS TV for £45 (actually thats now the RRP, but Game were using that as a sales motive). Also i found the dragonwar Silvio £5 cheaper. I popped in to gadget repair and it turns out the iphone i used for vlogging has water damage. Well it seems the waterproof case i used isn't working properly or i sweat very badly. Also there was other things and i might of been looking for a USB hub but didn't find a cheap one (ok i just looked in Poundland).

Then i walked back up to the mall, and i noticed the 2nd krispy kreme mini stand and there was this amazing girl there, blone with a figure i like a lot and she said (When i was looking at the boxes) "they go well with bacon strips", then we both did the "Bacon Strips & Bacon Strips & Bacon Strips" and i smiled, but since i was going swimming, i had to pass at that time, The other stand i went to i did asked about gift cards but they said the main one has some even thought the rep was shocked when i said "The Red card is sold out online", "it must of been popular then". After this, i walked to the hoe and explored before attempting to swim in the sea at the hoe.

Walking through the barbican

Cars parking and a dome i've not been in yet

Amazing views
Eventually i ended up on the top and sat down, i passed an old tavi college friend of mine, edmund and also this uni student was sat next seat to me and eating a carrot along with her lunch, she gave me awkward stares and it was 2:10 and i left to wander around town.

As i wandered into sweet shops and even got tempted to apply for a IT tech job in KT near uni, i wandred back to the mall and wanted to try to give my number to that amazing girl i flirted sort of with at the mini KK stand, sadly she wasn't there but i bought a box of each anyway for £15.95.

The boxes

You can tell which box is which and also glass is nice with it

My phone is much clearer with pictures though

With that, i walked out and headed out to Marsh Mills to get a newly real talk friend her 21st pressie.
But oh wait, the fucking boxes were bigger than my rucksack (not the tech air) and i had to look like a BHM with padding and cycling like that to marsh mills did give me some odd looks. Oh and i climbed over the fence near the costa to save time.

Getting on the bike

Oh, thats not fitting that nicely

Gently footpaths by urban ghetto areas

The deep smell from an estruary from an embankment road

Passing Sainsburys

Passing Vospers

Parking at halfords
Then i popped into PC world and purchased the chromecast while looking at various bits from Bluetooth mice to a GTX 750 OC for £99.99. But the chap was nice and i walked over to costa, Lauren looked cute to say the least and she said hi to me then after a 20 minute browsing since she was talking to some others. I gave the chromecast ot her and she was surpised and worried it was costly (considering i pad £60 for them in 2013, its the cheapest i've ever paid). She hugged me and invited me out Thursday and i couldn't do it so i was offered the week after next for something with the house.

The chomecast, with 3 months of Google Play
Then after that, i decided to head out, the cycle back was a not so painful uphill but it was a long gradual slope back to clearbrook. Sure its nice weather but the doughnuts were not as happy as i later discovered (the assorted ones).

Before the Plym valley

Passing by the Railway line

Nearing the end of Plym valley

Shaugh Prior Tunnel

The new gradual climb near clearbrook

I was nearly going to stop here for a drink but i went for a YOLO moment and cycled on

Finally getting past Yelverton

The final tunnel
Then i got home and packed up everything in terms of shower and a freezing cold drink and even i ate a glazed original doughnut before tea then tea then had 7 more later on in the night.

Well thats this and hope you enjoyed the vlog

A Final Cycle to Cadover

So, its the final week for school kids with easter approaching, the weather has been amazing, although things have still been down and even mellowing out to music which even sums up the past few months for me in 5 minutes, you might even see more of this song in videos, so enjoy it below:

That and its been the usual with working and playing Games as well as the other human needs in life, but basically with the weather being really nice, i decided to cycle off to my usual swimming spot in a river, sadly it was too cold so i wasn't in for very long:
That was pretty much the best bit of the footage i recorded. Anyways, the day after that was the day i decided to cycle to another river, The place known as Cadover Bridge, which is near some quarry works on the south of Dartmoor. The river is quite deep in some parts, mostly by the bridge.

So, after a quick relaxation and internet browsing, i set off with my bike, rucksack with all my swimming gear and cycled out, but before i reached there, i stopped in a few places first. As the first place is where the vlog starts, i will leave it down below:

The first preperation - LiDL

So, we are in lidl, the budget supermarket with mostly german products to sell to the vast many in the UK & EU. Now this was nice to explore, with cheap doughnuts, cookies, scotch eggs, medium priced sandwiches, some tat and other things, i'll be honest here and say that not much happened, but its always hard to get out of the store if you don't have anything to buy.

The journey - it goes downhill in both ways...

After exploring lidl, i cycle off through the tunnel, soaked as usual and then made it to Yelverton, in about 40 minutes from where i left off. Which was nice, i will admit that i didn't notice much on the way compared to other times, but meh.
Approaching Yelverton and then time to head out a different route.
The weather was hot at its peak time of 12pm, but i cycled on, going a route i have not travelled on my bike before, but this was when things turned bad. So, i was passed the first bridge after leaving yevlerton and sudden my brakes locked up and tyres were flat, which was worrying, so i tried to pump them up, with no avail, then it gets worse.....
It turned out the that inner tube was stuck and causing the tyre to not even move since the brakes were locked, so i had to pretty much dissassemble the inner tube, i did rip it to shreds, then it was a bouncy and i mean sex toy up a anus type bouncy vibration with every pedal, some cyclists did offer to help but i was doing ok, but the sound of the tyres was ear-rapingly loud, almost like a train...

Finally Arriving - 2 hours later

So, after the tyre catastrophe, i finally made it to cadover bridge in the heat, which was looking really nice as well as the peaceful atmosphere, i mean there were kids about, but it wasn't really rowdy.
Looking at Cadover Bridge
To be honest, i was supposed to swim but after how cold it was back at my usual spot, i did give that a miss, but it was nice to just relaxing and watch. Some girls nearby were drinking booze and having a instant BBQ, some kids were jumping into the river from a cliff edge nearby where i was.
The view of the river from where i was relaxing for a short while
With the time almost reaching 3pm, i decided to leave earlier and bite the bullet and buy a new bike on my way back home, personally i didn't want but my dad has been hinting at me in a irritating way and this basically gave me a "oh fuck it, i have no choice but to", even though he did give me £500 to buy one for my birthday, i wasn't comfortable at the time, especially with other harsh moments of fate, daunting on me. So i left, heading back to Yelverton, then on back to Tavi then home.
The final outdoor trip this bike will ever see in my hands, the final time this bike will be seen to you :/

The Final journey home with the Giant

It was a vibration and almost dangerous cycle back, with the hills and passing cars as well as uphils and hard corners. But i made it back, then i looked in a bike shop near the Rock inn and had a chat, he quoted me a bike for £550 but it wasn't in stock and then i thanked him and cycled back home, passing Dartmoor Cycles along the way. Now i went in there, i explained everything to him, he understood and shown me a bike that was £495, which looked really nice, slightly lighter and with hydraulic brakes. As much as i didn't want to do this, i paid for it and let the sales rep fit most things from the old one onto it.

While this was happening, i browsed morrisons, i actually found some cheap deals, like a chicken satay for £0.20, which was fresh and tasted quite nice, as you might have seen in the vlog. There was a slight queue on the tills but not as much as what the queues in Lidl are like.
The chicken or rather sweet chilli Satay for £0.20
Then as i was browsing the pet store, i had 2 missed calls, which means it was ready. I went in and there is was, ready, so i took it out and left the Giant back until i could pick it up later on. But here it is, a new bike, costing £495 and well, looks nice :)
The side of the bike, with the airpump and water bottle holder fitted.

A better view of the bike, with the bike lock, mudguard, lights fitted on the bike.

So there it was, now the story ends here, except after getting home, possibly being invited for a BBQ and just as i see the bus from lidl to get to Plymouth, i chicken out and run home, except i actually picked up the old bike and gave it one final cycle home.

Which then, my tale ends, with the final ride home with the tyre missing, it makes me sad that after so long, i had to leave it go. This is just one of the many changes that has happened to me before my 5 year anniversary of how omracer really existed, this isn't the worst of those changes, but i know that fate has bad plans in the works.

But for now, i bid you fairwell and have a nice week, hopefully there might be another night out vlog, but i'm not sure.
