A Working but Final grandparents possibly Christmas 2022

 Well it's that time of year already, work gets hectic, things seem just aupikot, lights are out and now it's coming to a head of how this Christmas is supposed to feel different but actually, I'm right, it is different like this just makes it something or other. But here lies a tale of a Christmas much less happy and one more of feelings I'm not even sure of. 

So we have to go from the trilogy down to just one post, that's how short this can be but we'll begin 

Christmas eve

A morning 

With a blogposts underway of the review of the year, trying the evenings of what left I have to get them sorted without all nighters, I woke up after yet another fap but this girl is nice but might be 9 years too young but doesn't ask for .£. So that's a bonus, but I get up at 7:57 and then clean teeth before a change and then run for the bus, as mum left to walk the dog and I ran past, it was dense fog, so if that bus I missed, the another 1 hour run it will be for this tale. But no I got to the station stop around 8:12.

I waited in that fog actually for 2 minutes and the bus arrives, it looked legit only me on there, wow, such Christmas eve, such hard people busy. But then I got on after paying the £3. The bus was only 1 other person getting on down the hill and there was one right behind me, so yup it's one of those days. I eventually got off and decided it was a well needs walk to go to film the message So I got off at monksmead and time to make my way over to the same place I'd done videos before and it was a shocking sight to see.

As I got that sorted in one take, it was good to reflect on parts I've typed up about in the year in review and well that in itself is a fair thing and challenge to do, But eventually it was 8:50 and I was on my way, one walker by i said hi to then it was the old tradition of running down the hill to work. It felt good by I was starting to feel it in the legs well the ankle. But I got into the shop and it was time to open up and deal with work.

It felt actually quite quiet to begin with but around the 10am mark, and it was starting to get busy, with alot of  small sales here and there, some calls like VGA Cables and also it leads to a switch a dock which was then leading to various parts of like cables, earphones and various games were sell. But it was also then a key of the  email back and forth as well as the aspect of well, the retail life and it was also emails with the last appointment to be a home visit at the end of the day. 

But as it goes for it, it was getting sunny and it was also that wet aura in the end with parts of things, customers were popping in and out for the most part, it was also one delivery to turn up but another did not in the end, partway in the end it will be customer to deal with a contract payout but that i not my place to choose on that. But in the end it leads to learning another parcel arrives and just as it leads to 4pm, one last minute conversation and sale then leads to getting out of there and locking up, which then leads to planning. That and some vouchers were printed with that potential to support friends that supported me in a recently, some of those i've mentioned in the review of the year. But that will be given tomorrow at some point while video editing the message. 

AS I left I decided to pop in to spoons to get some gift cards which actually it was quite busy in there, like even saw one of my customers and that was nice to catch up, then it was time to picked up the 2 x £10 gift cards.

Afterwards it was head out to my customer next, only just up the road, but then it was to sort out why only office does not auto save on iPadOS but WPS was the fix, then it was about 16:55 and time to run home, yes another 6 mile run in 1 hour and 15 minutes or just over actually. The rain did start to pour heavy on part the way. But It was going to be the case of some cars about and stopping in laybys.

Eventually I got home.

So this was interesting, I got in and greeted my dad and sister watching Pearl Harbour and it felt very eeary coming home, but I got some of the food from the leftover buffet which was nice of onion rings, ham, a lush potato eggy salad and it did feel nice to have, it was one of those things, it felt lime some big news was going to be told but instead it didnt happen, which is good and the food is something to take things easy it. 

then it was a case of taking things easily and being able to watch a few nice movies on this night with parents, but there was the wrapping of the cards which i added the spoons card in there too. But then it was just taking it easy and taking the post to be written up, since actually I'm close to catching up.  But due to the timing.

But it was then enjoying Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which has its charms but only had one point which was of the sister part, the Kevin Bacon parts was interesting to say the least. Then after that they went for a walk While i watched some BNA while typing up. But this was a short half episode before parents arrived back, but then we settled down and watched a space between us while listening to the conversations on how this day went while I worked it. 

Once that was done, it was time to go to bed and a toilet at midnight then a nice fresh stand outside to see how things looked, the windy out there was clear but the clouds were covering. But like it was a way to reflect what was going on and then Finley was then sleeping on my bed while i finished typing up the Eve.

ITS CHRISTMAS, well I don't feel the spirit of it as a near 30 year old with the recent changes but it was the goal to get food delivered to grandparents, help setup a TV and also even get some vouchers sent and relax with parents and sister and open presents up. But I ended up typing until 1am and thne fap and bed around the 2 ish mark.

But then i woke up around the 8ish mark to then get a fap going since the plan was to rush editing for the 9am mark to start But by 9:20 and a fap over someone from the past, it was time to get up and parents went for a walk from 9:48 or so and that then lead to be able to get it. But instead it was taking the breakfast of a ham Christmas cookie potato salad sandwich.

Then it was some cleaning of the plates before it was time to really get this video cained and it was the next 2 hours to get that done. But it was tough getting that sorted out to really find that way to sum up what I explained in the video, from the small bits which partway through editing, when  My sister then arrived and when speaking she told me the news of the future and actually made a joke of how I'm gone be planned to kit out them with tech and teach. Legs really started to shake but form the past 2 weeks, i've had hints and found so not a surprise but its going be a test of stress and realise the 30 year old virgin life is closer and closer. Eventually I got the video rendered and copied to my phone in LITERALLY 5 minutes later than when we were about to leave. But then uploading it in the car with Lyca data was worth it. 

But then it was off to go to see the grandparents.

So with the car on the way. all 4 of us were in the car and ready to go, the weather was not too bad, some mild heat and dry on the roads for the most part and that in itself was a good sign. But the video taking its time to upload between 4G and 3G since lyca have its moment, but then it was we getting there and the unloading of the Food and presents. But it was then getting to the part of uploading 

that vlog which Turns out the wifi in their house was not working, so it lead to be having to reboot it while helping out with the landline not working well due to non rechargeable batteries fitted in the doro phones. But in that, it was time to get the video finished uploading while unloading the card like the 32" Samsung TV from work.

But then it was the case of the uploads complete  which was a releif but, then it was time for the lunch. Which I had to help naan get to the table, she was slurring in speech and had to help her lift up from the chair to then try to use the walker to get to the table. She was in a bit of pain and things are for sure looking back which i'll explain eventually. 

Then it was time to eat and it was really nice, from the casual 3 bird Roast + Gammon, roasted parsnip, roast potatoes and also the brussel sprouts had a bacon seasoning to it, sauce wise there was only Cranberry and gravy to be fair. This was also the time for a be real for be dne as it was notifying us to take one.

As it progress, nan try to eat, grandad was drinking more glasses of baileys, chatter from the news to other things like phone calls, but nan was talking about things that didn't make too much sense, which with how the Alzheimer's was progressing in her, it was starting to not surprise but it was soon to be the realization that things will change and that change will break hearts and realise that this is the final Christmas with granparents. 

But as i was finishing my 3rd portion, it was soon time for desert which all I could go for and like was strawberry cheesecake which was nice especially with the berries at the top of it which it was a lovely frozen one. But We finished that and it was time to then tidy up before it was the quest for the vesa mount.

Then it came to starting to get the TV sorted in their bedroom, with a vesa mount and the Samsung 32" HD TV.  Which to be fair this was alot trickier since the screws with the mount were not being able to fit but after talking, some screws in a screw box, worked and then it was getting to be around the time of the King's Speech.

But then it was a short but semi or highly religious speech in most ways in that, but it ended by 8 minutes past and it was time for Aladdin, But back to the Mount and the TV which was helping Dad Drill it it to the wall, and after an hour of stressing, we got it and then the TV was setup and plugged into the wall and mains and ready to go. it reminds me of some of things i've faced when the review of the monitor arms happened . But eventually it was done. 

After a break it was time to go through presents, so many various types like Snoodies (Oodies like), Stephen Brown artwork and various essentials, like lets make this on it was nice presents that as kids might not make any sense but coming up to the age I am, its really become useful at this age, from shaving foam to more deodorant (which to be fair i've skipped for most of actually this month) and there are always interesting ones like Donut making kits and even this brown bracelet that i have to use a Iseasomo tool to even remove it to then put it on my wrist. But it was about the time of Aladdin being finished which we then finished and packed things away, a cat hiding in the house was had to leave as adorable as this black and white stray was spending time with us in the afternoon.

Then it was the drive home once all packed up. 

The Evening: 

So the drive home was the talk of the future and with that talk means that is the end of family Christmas for this, like since it is too much for nan to stay her home safely now, it means that things are beginning to end and shes in a bad way, it will be some tough decisions as early as next month which will or might lead to some other more to me choices but it has to be done, like that I'm not certain but what i know is it really started to hit home tonight of the fact that that was the last Christmas with them as a full. Sure it also was going to hit home with Christmas with someone new as well so it just feels completely out.  

But we then got back home and unloaded and sister then got her things and drove off to her fiance's parentrs house for a evening Christmas do but could not stay since she had work tomorrow, I aosl got back to having to open some cards and presents which were from the day before since I got back late, one was a secret santa and one was from a customer I've helped in the shop a few times.

but then it was set ways and to check things, you fucking know when the PAGE for WORK gets a message for wanting to book in and also earlier was told to not go to work on Tuesday so that means its going to be calls to deal with. But then it was time to have a nice bit of leftovers from gammon, stuffing, ham, salad, potato salad and even onion rings which always does the good sign.

But then it was after tat some Christmas cookies for desert, then watching Barbarians on Netflix until midnight while being able to Type this up, But as far as things go, the main festivities were at an end and this was also me realign Christmas is going to feel so much different from now onwards. Heck then while typing this up around the 1am mark, the 20 year Old i'm feeding and flirting with was enjoying her fish style roast for Christmas or that was what was around the Christmas eve time. 

As i then woke up at 2am to then get the cat back in the house, it was time to sleep and then wake up to a Boxing Day to do another family outing or depends on the weather.

So it ends up actually a quiet day, I woke up actually about 9:20am and then it was then time to get up and actually a bit of smoothie with another Christmas cookie sandwich to keep going with. So this time was more leftover gammon with it and some onion rings too which always are lush.

Then it was actually backing up the pictures and uploading and tweeting from the past week of those times where like I've been to busy to due to the end of year blogpost. But that was while watching BNA which is a pretty decent anime on netflix which to be fair they have been hosting some good Trigger projects here and there, especially with Pany and Stocking in the next year or so.  

But after a few hours of that, it was about 12:30 or so then it was time to go and have the casserole, it was ok, the beef was a alright but a bit tangy and the potatoes are a mixed flavour, But the little bread rolls are lush too.

But as it goes with repair shop and other bits to watch, but it felt  some tasty bits but it ends up then finishing with some Tarts for desert too. But it was time to then have a bit of a long walk to loose off that food, So the walk was pretty much around Chilsworthy then up the Higston down mine and back home, which I've semi done this walk before but it was still as muddy as over a month ago.

But then it was taking about an hour and 45 around , with the Clear sky and the air and it was getting a chill in the air. But in the end of walking and hearing of other house moves that could be happening in the end, we got back about 4pm and then it was nice to relax and watch treason.  Which actually is a good show. Some moments of this reminds me of the BBC like Bodyguard and things and it has its moments of going places I went to nearly 4 years ago. 

But eventually it comes into its plan of having some time to sort things out and enjoy leftover food along with some extra meat and slices which was nice to enjoy. But that was with Jurrasic world Dominion so it has its moments.

But then it was just to relax and finish off the rest of the night and it was Treason to Bridget Jones and then more fun with Die Hard with a Vengeance which works out to finish off.

The Dickensian Weekend of a 3 week peroid of non stop work

 Well, Happy December already and the last few weeks of this year. Things have been an exhausting push since the time of the Sales before Christmas are there to ruin the body. But this has also got to a push of what could become a end of a chapter from scared truths. 

The Week of December beginning: 

So this was going to be the time of the last of the 3 week, there has been some nerves of anxiety for the past 2 of those 3 or so weeks, but maybe we can see what that appears with, especially after the weekend of having to help grandparents out, especially as things there were going to be tough for that. But tthat detail will be in the review of the year which is the short time for it to be done. 

So we'll skip to when it was actually coming to the final week of November, it was black Friday weekend, things were going a bit of the sales of hetic and its been that non stop, on that part of it. And on top, it was getting to the point of recovering the superflu/cold that has been going on. But that previous week has been the case of dealing with that and taking up to 4 vitamin c tablets per day to keep me active and working, since it was the weekend.

Now this past week has been a case of having to double up on things like the visits since I knew that the Friday was going to be off the cards due to that late night shopping to be happening, which little did I know that was going to make it hetic for me, in the case it was going to be double visits. The Sunday I had off had some interesting things form downloading games to getting other parts sorted. Plus it was the trend of the name on urban dictionary. which means it made me fee like a bit of a odd choice, especially when Mattie is a she in that side of things. Plus enjoy the chance of being able to watch fornite plays while being able to wait for a bath too.

Especially as it was also the time to make the most of discount from lidl. Since they even had MonsterClaws snacks are really good, like fake monstermunch is well worth a 12 pack for £0.89.

Plus it gets to the point  of Tesco doing reduced and clearance fattening ice creams like the cookies and cream one as well as the sandwich filler always do, with the chicken and bacon and the mayo, it works out really nicely.

Then it was to carry on with work as normal, since it was going to be time to cain the visits, since of this being after black Friday, was the deals ending and repairs to be done but wrong information means wasted money on parts, but it was also the time of dealing with the parts for Gaming, some 1050tis arrived as well as CIT cases as well as even decent power supplies for a build later on in the December to come. But reps to be chased was also the time for it, since another console drop was about to happen and it means more of having to stay in the shop for longer, especially as it was the chilly in the air that even some customers were noticing the cold, but then again work's had a 63.39p standing charge per day for the past month of electric usage which is a WTF even for prices moment of the wholesale electric, which has been alot of just prices rising. But its also the case of being able to have nice meals to bake when its back late from work.

This leads to the next stage to coming to the end of the November month, with important ends of the goal, it was to enjoy the start of Advent calendar, which I did purchase one for mum, and mum purchased one for me, so for me its the peaut butter reeces which is the second year in a row in that honesty. But they are incredible and peanut butter has become a thing of beauty and it was 24 days of this, so this was just to begin. So a little treat for each day if i can handle it. But it also goes to having a visit before hand which

So it was that full day and it meant alot of work for this to catch up with, stock had to be booked in , deliveries were being 5 minutes after me running down to the shop. Like it means having to wake up earlier which means less chance to ease stress on that side of things. But that day had a vimto from home which I could use for lunch on that day, but this was going to be a long day without knowing it. Since it was a double shift and that was going to be the unexpected turn of events. But when running back in the fresh cold air at 10:30 at night after attempting to make a Ethernet socket, But then it was late night food while watching Hawkeye.

Then it comes to the thursday which actually was meant to be another long day, but this luckily makes it a bit easier since of one less visit to deal with, and it meant to me to get it sorted with online work, since that was the only night of getting it done that week, even if it was going to be harder with other things to take prioity, such as the chance of it not having time to get the start of the season of christmas. Saving up for presents to get for family and others to plan out for. The review of the year is going to be started as well which actually it means there is not going to be a dickensian vlog on this side of things. 

But then it leads to the big day, Dickensian, which I did get the costume out and planned out for the work even of the long day that was ahead.  I was wondering if this was gonna fit nearly 2 years later.

~Then it was to be the day. 

The Day of Dickensian: 

Well it was that Friday and things were going to be long. So it was time to prepare for that day, which I did get up a bit later than planed, but it was time to get the faced washed with Coal of all things, to make the chimmey sweep look sorted for me. Then it was the fitting which actually it did work but some ripping, especially when putting jeans on underneath it.

Then it was getting to the part of running to work, then to get signs up and well, work for most of the day, the jumper was out during the day and various jobs to get some, from cracking lenses on cameras when trying to replace to even just making sure things were tidy for it to be ready and waiting on my end for the night to arrive. Also banners were getting caught in the rain too.

Then it was the chance to deal with the preparation of that night, since there was a console that was to show the aspects out of that night, since it was entertaining the crowds and maybe more sales to plan on. Especially as a tech deals for black friday were extended. But eventually it was to be to sort out the evening. The Mask was ready to be kept on.

Then it was time for the main event. The Dickensian, with the door open, the lights being on and well, hoping the crowds would build up and make things easier for the money wise, were there more new customers. There would be a few of them. But time passed and things were hit and miss. It was nearing the 7pm mark and it was time for the entertainment which passed by, I was just about to get some chinese from the birds nest just over some stairs and down the hill, but the crowds were quite packed, some with masks, some without.

Time passed and crowds on and off were passing in and out. questions on PS5 and also surprisingly, some high end game sales in the £10 off sale worked  nicely too. Sure I had a text to help lend £30 for a taxi But it was then getting late and it was nearing the 9pm mark and well, time to pack up and head home, since the air was cold. The road was wet and it was time to run home or walk in the road. The events were packing up and it was then time to make my way home to have some late night food.

Eventually it was also a quick stop on the way home to Spar, t see what cheap food could work for a end of night day. But there was nothing to be interesting and so it comes to that run up the hill. Which before I left some drunk guy banged his head on the road and his mum was insulting him but me and this other chap helped him to get into the car. Then it was the run up the road. Which turns up to then having a nice bit of Toasted sandwiches, which chicken and pickle is a nice combo.

The chance of the next few days was going to be interesting to say the least, But that is the weekend to start

The Weekend after. 

Well we start to be the Saturday and it was recovering from the long night, yes the vlog was filmed and since of the lack of time to get any editing done, hence part of this 3 days later. But this was just a quiet day more than anything which there was a catchup from another part of this. Parents had their jabs and could be ill for the Sunday, but they did get me a Pasty and a drink from that too.

 it was also a cancellation so it meant having it filled in from another visit, and that meant another tesco shop on the way home. Which some bits were ovedue I will admit, but tescos had some offers which was hard to resist. Like itsu was £0.75 off each and that makes it that more tempting for it too. So the Chicken Gyozas as well as the Bao buns making it a saving of £1.50 and filled that with some reduced items and £0.30 for chicken packet soup is a rare sight too (Not reduced).

Then it was when I came home, turns out parents had ordered an indian takeout and that meat was incredible to try some onion bhaji and also it was the time to enjoy the spice but it was the lamb balti that becomes my fave.

Then it was the part of starting to type this up, since then it was the case of watching videos at the time, its one of those distractions to just take things easy, which is not as easy as it seems sometimes. But eventually it was time to sleep and hope for a day of catching up. 

Sunday: 

Now this was actually a fair bit different, since I woke up late after a needed fap and then it was the time to listen to music to keep more indeed mind and maybe motivation, but it was the case of parents shouting since they were not able to hear me reply on if I wanted anything when they out shopping. While they did that, it was then to be able to get a shave sorted as well as finally get a smoothie sorted and sort some accounts that were overdue.

Then the plan was to have a meal with parents at our grandparents house since it was the potentially last Sunday free before Christmas. But it was to make the care free and important than I expected. But before that, it was time to walk the dog, since she needed it, but bit me before going, since she did not like having doors shut so she could not hide before the walk.

After this it was the case to finally  prepare to get in the car and go to the grandparents it was a bit of a delay due to the potatoes being cooked longer. But it was going to be the case of being able to talk and catch up. The roast was incredible i'll admit, that honey maple glazed gammon, the lamb was local butches but small to enjoy for a smaller way on it. The potatoes were nice and hot too.

After this and helping to clean up, it was the time to then help my sister get her phone sorted since she wanted to get a new phone but due to the current climate of the industry currently but the photos were backup ed  up also planned out to clear some room. But after that, it was time to head back home and it was getting dimpsey already. But then it was the 3 of us, walking on the railway line and in the field again, which Rosie played ball but lost it a few times, but eventually it was then back home and time to plan of video editing, after giving oil to the bike chain since it has been clicking recently, but it ended up watching lets plays and trying to download effects but that was a waste of time, but there was a bath in the end. But the leftovers worked nicely.

Then it was the time to go back to the First day back to work which could be non stop.

The Monday: 

So it was a better day than I expected, but it turns out the sum of it was 4 visits to sort out and also that time to chop wood up with a saw, go and see someone after which caused more ups and downs, a text from someone special and well, cycling in the rain to then get to work to sort money out which then lead to 2 visits due to post office delays and then run back to the shop and cycle home, the rain was preparing for the worst of it but well, its then back to coming home to a nice fry up as well, then more daredevil to start re-watching to prepare the big reveal in Hawkeye possibly, in a few days from now.

Well that comes to it, its now the start of the end of the year, with weeks to go and review of the years as well as maybe squeezing in a few videos at hope plus 2 jobs to do, it could be one heck of  busy ride.
